Detailed Description

A linear shape defined by a collection of parts, and a spatial reference.

Each part is a continuous line represented by a collection of Segments. If there is more than one part, each part can either branch or be discontinuous from other parts. Point-based helper methods allow the polyline to be treated as a series of connected points.

Polyline is immutable. Instead of changing the properties of an existing polyline, you can create new Polyline instances, or use PolylineBuilder.

A Polyline instance can be used as the geometry of a feature.

Member Function Documentation

Default constructor.

Polyline::Polyline(const Polyline &other)

Copy constructor from other Polyline.

Polyline::Polyline(Polyline &&other)

Move constructor from other Polyline.

Polyline::Polyline(const Geometry &other)

Converting constructor from other Geometry.

See also Downcast helper functions.

bool Polyline::isValid() const

Gets whether this Polyline is valid.

A Polyline is valid if it is not empty and geometryType is GeometryType::Polyline.

Returns true if valid.

This function was introduced in Esri::ArcGISRuntime 100.2.

Polyline &Polyline::operator=(const Polyline &other)

Assignment operator from other Polyline.

Polyline &Polyline::operator=(Polyline &&other)

Move operator from other Polyline.
