COVID-19 Resources for Developers

Esri is helping the world visualize the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that many of you are working hard to help your community as well. To fast-track those developing COVID-19-specific solutions, we've created a resource page with the most pertinent information specific to developers.

ArcGIS API for JavaScript releases 4.15 and 3.32

With the release of ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.15, developers now have access to:

  • FeatureLayer editing in 3D
  • FeatureTable widget (Beta release)
  • Attachments: viewing and editing
  • BuildingSceneLayer filter modes
  • Display features on top of IntegratedMesh layers
  • Much more including breaking changes and bug fixes

ArcGIS AppStudio documentation moves to ArcGIS Developer site

Part of the Esri Geospatial Cloud, ArcGIS AppStudio gives you everything you need to build geoenabled cross-platform native apps from a single code base. Developers now have access to documentation from right here on the developer site. Get started with ArcGIS AppStudio documentation including tutorials, guides, and API reference at its new home here.

Other changes

The Esri Web Scene Specification has been updated to 1.19.

The ArcGIS API for Python guides and demo notebooks have been updated to feature more deep learning and automation with Doccano.

Bug fixes

Fixes a bug in the ArcGIS Developer Vector Tile Style Editor where some layers and sprites were not being saved correctly due to special characters in the name.
