Applications and AI agents that access the MCP for ArcGIS Location Services incur usage charges when an MCP tool makes a successful call to an ArcGIS Location Services operation. This includes the following:
- Performing geocoding requests with
reverse_geocodeandfind_address_candidatestools is metered as Geocodes (stored). - Solving route problems with
solve_routetool is metered as Routes. - Getting elevation data with
elevation_at_locationstool is metered as Elevation values. - Generating static maps with
map_with_overlaystool is metered as Static maps.
