ArcGISMapView class final

A widget that displays an ArcGISMap and associated data.

The ArcGISMapView widget can only be used within a widget that has a bounded size. Using it with unbounded size will cause the application to throw an exception. For example, to use an ArcGISMapView within an unbounded size widget, such as a Column, Row, ListView, SingleChildScrollView, or Stack, etc., you must first wrap the ArcGISMapView in a bounded widget, such as Expanded, to provide it with proper bounds.

Here is a simple example:

  @override
  Widget build(BuildContext context) {
    return Scaffold(
      body: Column(
        children: [
          Expanded(
            child: ArcGISMapView(
              controllerProvider: () {
                return ArcGISMapView.createController()
                  ..arcGISMap = ArcGISMap.withBasemapStyle(
                    BasemapStyle.arcGISImagery,
                  );
             },
            ),
          ),
        ],
      ),
    );
  }

Use the associated ArcGISMapViewController to configure the map and other data, such as ArcGISMap.operationalLayers, ArcGISMapViewController.graphicsOverlays or ArcGISMapViewController.locationDisplay.

Use the controller to interact with the map, such as by using ArcGISMapViewController.setViewpoint() or ArcGISMapViewController.identifyLayer().
