Release notes for ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 | ArcGIS REST APIs

Listed below are the new and updated resources and operations added to the ArcGIS Server Administrator API at 12.1.

The release note entries for previous supported versions are maintained until those versions of ArcGIS Enterprise reach the end of their support lifecycle. Once a version of ArcGIS Enterprise is retired, their release note entries are archived.

A new operation, Update Certificate, has been added at this release that allows administrators to overwrites an existing SSL certificate.
The Change service provider in bulk operation can update multiple services at once to use either a dedicated or shared instance type.

The Export Services operation has been updated with the following enhancements:
- The location parameter has been updated to accept the prefix of a cloud storage location as input.
- A new parameter, locationConfig, defines the location configuration for file systems or cloud-based storage systems that exported service configurations could be saved to. Example configurations have been added for AWS S3 and Azure Blob.
The following properties have been add to the Web Adaptors and Web Adaptor JSON responses:
- currentVersion
- webServer
- os
The prefix denoting encrypted information has been updated at this release. Starting at 12.1, the v2Crypt_ prefix will be used as part of the connectionString parameter, rather than the {crypt} prefix that was previously used.
