This sample demonstrates how to use the measurement components in 2D. These components can also be used with all layer types.

Areas can be measured using the Area Measurement 2D component.

Distances between two or more points can be measured using the Distance Measurement 2D component, which displays the horizontal distance.

When the measured length or perimeter, for distance and areas respectively, is less than 100 km, the default mode is planar. Otherwise, the default mode is geodesic. Snapping can be enabled by defining the SnappingOptions for both measurement components.
