NullTransformationClass

Creates a null geographic transformation.

Description

The NullTransformation method should be used when you need to convert data between two geographic coordinate systems but the coordinate values should not change. A possible example might be when converting between WGS 1984 and ITRF00. It's also possible to use another transformation method like GeocentricTranslation with the parameters set to zeroes, but this will take more time.

Extended Error Information

Use the ISupportErrorInfo method InterfaceSupportsErrorInfo to determine if the object supports extended error information. If the object supports extended error info, VC++ developers should use the OLE/COM IErrorInfo interface to access the ErrorInfo object. Visual Basic developers should use the global error object Err to retrieve this extended error information.

Interfaces

Interfaces Description
IClone (esriSystem) Provides access to members that control cloning of objects.
IDatumTransformationInfo Provides common properties for GeoTransformation and HVCompositeDatumTransformation
IGeoTransformation Provides access to members that define a geographic (datum) transformation.
INullTransformation indicator interface for a null transformation.
IPersist (esriSystem)
IPersistStream (esriSystem)
ISpatialReferenceAuthority Provides access to the authority-related metadata for a spatial reference object.
ISupportErrorInfo (esriSystem)
ITransformation Provides access to members that apply a function (or its inverse) to a set of points or measures. The suffix of each method indicates the type of parameters operated on.
ITransformationGEN Provides access to members that apply a function (or its inverse) to a set of points or measures. The suffix of each method indicates the type of parameters operated on. ITransformationGEN is generic version of ITransformation.
IXMLSerialize (esriSystem) Provides access to members that XML serialize and deserialize an object to/from XML.
