System requirements for 100.14

This page lists system requirements for the 100.14 release of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET, which contains APIs to develop apps for Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows UI Library (WinUI) 3, Universal Windows Platform (UWP), Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.iOS, and Xamarin.Forms (cross-platform projects for Android, iOS, and UWP). Each API has specific system requirements for your development machine as well as for the machines and devices to which you deploy your app.

Visual Studio workloads

The following list describes the Visual Studio installation workloads and components required for the application platforms you choose to target when using ArcGIS Runtime API for .NET:

  • WPF:
    • Workload: .NET desktop development.
  • WinUI:
    • Workloads: .NET desktop development and Universal Windows Platform development.

AR toolkit

AR Toolkit for Xamarin.Android requires use of the d8 compiler. Using the legacy dx compiler results in a compile-time error.
