System requirements for 1.1.0

The current plugin version supports Unity 2021.3.x LTS. Other versions may work but are not supported. This page outlines the minimum system requirements you need to run Unity 2021.3.x LTS on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.

ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity system requirements

This section lists the minimum requirements to run the Unity Editor. Actual performance and rendering quality can vary depending on the complexity of your project.

This section lists the minimum requirements to build an app using ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity and run the Unity Player on mobile devices. Actual performance and rendering quality can vary depending on the complexity of your project.

Additional requirements
  • 1GB+ RAM
  • Supported hardware devices must meet or exceed Google's Android Compatibility Definition (Version 9.0) limited to the following device types:
    • Handheld (Section 2.2)
    • Television (Section 2.3)
    • Tablets (Section 2.6)
  • Hardware must be running Android OS natively. Android within a container or emulator is not Supported.
  • For development: Android SDK (10/API 29), Android NDK (r22) and OpenJDK, which can be installed by default with Unity Hub You may need to update Android NDK manually by downloading the package from the Android for Developers page.
