Detailed Description

There are two alternative work flows for using LoadSettings. The first is useful for setting the same settings on more that one map or scene, for example:

LoadSettings {
    id: loadSettings
    preferredPointFeatureRenderingMode: Enums.FeatureRenderingModeDynamic
    preferredPolygonFeatureRenderingMode: Enums.FeatureRenderingModeDynamic
    preferredPolylineFeatureRenderingMode: Enums.FeatureRenderingModeDynamic
    useAdvancedSymbology: true
}

Map {
    id: map1
    loadSettings: loadSettings
}

Map {
    id: map2
    loadSettings: loadSettings
}

The second is useful for modifying the default settings on a map or scene, for example:

Scene {
    id: scene

    loadSettings {
        preferredPointFeatureRenderingMode: Enums.FeatureRenderingModeDynamic
    }
}

Property Documentation

preferredPointFeatureRenderingMode : Enums.FeatureRenderingMode

The preferred rendering mode for point and multi-point based feature layers.

The default value is Enums.FeatureRenderingModeAutomatic.

The layer will attempt to render in the specified mode if it is supported. If for example Enums.FeatureRenderingModeDynamic is not supported by a layer's Renderer, then it will fall back to rendering in Enums.FeatureRenderingModeStatic mode.

See also Enums.FeatureRenderingMode.

preferredPolygonFeatureRenderingMode : Enums.FeatureRenderingMode

The preferred rendering mode for polygon based feature layers.

See also Enums.FeatureRenderingMode.

preferredPolylineFeatureRenderingMode : Enums.FeatureRenderingMode

The preferred rendering mode for polyline based feature layers.

See also Enums.FeatureRenderingMode.

useAdvancedSymbology : bool

Gets whether a web map should use advanced symbology.

The default value is true.

This must be set prior to loading a web map and will use the simple or advanced symbol rest end point for the feature service.
