Detailed Description

Wheel events are generated both for mouse wheel movement and track pad scroll gestures.

Note: You cannot declare or create a component of this type in QML code.

angleDelta : double

Returns the distance that the wheel is rotated, expressed as eighths of a degree (read-only).

For example, a value of 120 equates to 15 degrees. Positive values indicate wheel-up rotation (the top of the wheel moving away from the user).


buttons : int

Returns the buttons pressed that caused the wheel event (read-only).


mapPoint : Point

Returns the map Point of this wheel event. (read-only)


mapX : double

Returns the x component of the x,y-coordinate of the corresponding map location (read-only).


mapY : double

Returns the x component of the x,y-coordinate of the corresponding map location (read-only).


pixelDelta : double

Returns the screen scrolling distance in pixels (read-only).

This is available on devices that support high-resolution pixel-based delta values. Use this value to directly scroll screen content.


x : int

Returns the x component of the x,y screen coordinates of this wheel event (read-only).


y : int

Returns the y component of the x,y screen coordinates of this wheel event (read-only).
