The hydrology service is a location service that traces water flow and generates watersheds. Hydrology tasks provide analysis based on authoritative elevation and hydrologic information that has been optimized to improve results and service performance. These services are available at different spatial extents and resolutions. Trace tasks determine the flow path downstream from an identified location. Watershed tasks identify catchment areas based on specified locations and ArcGIS Online elevation data.
