A service geodatabase is a geodatabase used in ArcGIS Maps SDKs for Native Apps that connects to a feature service as a whole, grouping together service feature table instances for related records queries, for connecting to a version in a branch-versioned service, and for managing edits for all tables. Because the service geodatabase lets you work with tables as a whole, it is especially useful for data with rules defined, such as most utility networks
