mobile package

A mobile package is a Mobile Map Package (MMPK) or a Mobile Scene Package (MSPK) file. It is created in ArcGIS Pro and contains one or more map or scene definitions, including basemap layers, data layers, layer styles and pop-up definitions. A mobile package can also include data referenced by layers in the maps and scenes and, optionally, data to support geocoding, place search, and routes and directions. Data contained in a mobile package cannot be edited. Mobile packages are typically used by offline applications that provide rich mapping and location-based functionality without requiring a network connection. Applications that use mobile packages are built with ArcGIS Maps SDKs for Native Apps.
