Map Viewer is a browser-based mapping tool that can view, create, and save web maps. Map Viewer can be used to perform common GIS tasks, such as to explore the contents of a web map, change the basemap, add data layers and styles, perform measurements, and execute different types of data analyses. Web maps can be viewed without an account, but Map Viewer requires an ArcGIS subscription to create, save, or share web maps. Developers can use Map Viewer to create web maps for their applications or create application templates that can be consumed by multiple applications.
