A feature layer (client-side) is a data layer that can access and display features from a feature service that has the same type of geometry (point, multi-point, polyline, or polygon) and attribute fields. A feature layer (client-side) is typically used to display features in a map or scene. The source of the features is typically a feature service. Applications and APIs can use these layers to query, visualize, edit, and perform spatial analysis with features.
