A hosted table is a type of hosted layer (item) in a portal that is used to manage the properties and settings of a non-spatial feature layer in a feature service. It is accessible through an item page which is used to manage non-spatial data properties and capabilities. Hosted tables are typically created using data management tools to import files such as CSV, XLS, or Google Sheets, where the data does not contain coordinate information such as x, y
or latitude and longitude. Client applications can access, query, and edit hosted table data as stand-alone or related tables.
