Clip(Geometry, Envelope)

Constructs the polygon created by clipping geometry by envelope.

Parameters

Geometry	geometry	The geometry to be clipped by the given envelope.
Envelope	envelope	The envelope in which to use in order to clip geometry.

Returns

Type	Description
Geometry	A Geometry that represents the given geometry with the desired area clipped out. If envelope clips the entirety of the given geometry, returns an empty geometry.

Remarks

Supports true curves.

Exceptions

System.ArgumentNullException	geometry or envelope is null.
System.ArgumentException	Spatial references must match
